Hello Matt,

Thank you for your message.

Are you using IPv6 protocol in your network?

Looking forward to your reply.

I have tried it both ways but generally no.

As a side note I can make it work if I do a direct IP connection to a terminal in my local network. But nothing on the ID side which is what I truly need for theses remote hosts.

Hello Matt,

Could you please try to execute "ping server.rutils.com" command in the command line of your Viewer's machine and tell me what do you get for an answer?

Looking forward to your reply.

I am using an internet connection to my host computer but don't know how to make WOL work.  I see it in the Viewer "Connections" tab, but clicking on it doesn't produce any results.  What do I need to do to make this feature work?

Rick

Hello Rick,

Thank you for your message.

You can't use WoL through the Internet-ID. You need to have a direct connection between two computers for sending the WoL packet.

Don't hesitate to ask me, if you have any questions.
