MSI Configuration
Remote Utilities is powerful remote access software that allows you to manage thousands of remote computers with ease. This wouldn't be possible without deploying the remote module across the network. With the built-in MSI Configurator, you can pre-configure your remote package with the settings you want the final installation to have, or even use multiple packages for different sites, departments, or usage scenarios.
Customizing Your Package
The MSI Configurator is a tool built into the Viewer module. It runs as a wizard that guides you through a series of steps to set your desired options. At the end of the process, an output file—a configured Host or Agent package—can be saved.
Save Customization Options
You can save your choices for future use and easily re-run the configuration process by importing settings from a file into the MSI Configurator.
Deploying Across Your Network
Once you have customized your package, you can deploy it. Different deployment methods are available—from manual distribution among the remote clientele to push-installing the custom MSI in an Active Directory network using GPO.
