windows 7 / 10 mouse movement on host

Set up 2 new windows 10 laptops ( same issue on a windows 7 desktop )
When these devices are running host, their native mouse movement becomes erratic.
You move the mouse on the host computer and it bounces back to the point it was when connected to it using viewer.

Nothing obviously wrong in the settings

REALLY troublesome.

Thank you for your post.

Your settings are correct. This is by program design - when you move your admin mouse pointer the remote mouse pointer also moves, but not vice versa. So inevitably if you once move your remote mouse pointer (by physically moving the mouse) and then the admin moves hers the remote pointer will "jump" to the admin pointer location.

I'm seeing the HOST mouse jump back to the position of the VIEWER cursor, even when viewer cursor is stationary. Is it not sensible to transfer control of the mouse back and forth? Can this not be sensed depending on which one is being moved, or with a click? As is, the host mouse has nearly zero control whenever the mouse is over the viewer window.

Sorry, but no. The remote user is not supposed to control the mouse pointer of the admin. Why should they if they don't even see the admin's screen.
