Remote Utilities Android Computer List

I have been using Remote Utilities for a while not and am very happy with the software.

One issue that I am running into a lot is on the Android Version.

I have a list of Computers that I regularly connect to and they are nicely organized in the drop down list.

However, I notice that every 3-4 days or so, this list gets Cleared Out.

This is not a result of clicking the "Clear List" button.

Is this a common issue with the Android Application?

Hello Mark,

Thank you for your post.

We will check that issue. But strictly speaking, it may not be relevant now because we will be significantly revamping how the address book works in the mobile viewer very soon anyway. Instead of just a simple drop down list we are planning to add a full-fledged address book like you can see in the desktop Viewer.

Conrad,

In my situation, the addresses stay in my phone (Samsung S5) but disappear in my tablets (formerly a Galaxy Tab 2, now a Galaxy Tab A). Not sure if this will help, but thought it might be relevant.

Despite my frustration with this ongoing malfunction, I still appreciate your product, its availability for no cost and your responsiveness.

Hello Jim,

Perhaps there is a bug indeed but we are going to re-work the mobile version soon anyway.

Conrad,

Not to put too sharp a point on it, but it's a year and a half later and still no update...
