No problem. I'm just grateful you folks are willing to create a Linux version. I tried running the Windows version of the Viewer in CrossOver but ran into display issues. Being able to run it natively will be wonderful and I'm happy to assist in any way I can with the testing. I'm grateful for the affordability and capability of your product.

Sure, when I click the Sign In button the dialog pops up and I populate all of the information and I have confirmed it matches what works on my Windows box. When I click OK the dialog goes away immediately and the Sign In button is still there as if I never signed in and I don't have access to my Address Book. I do notice at the bottom right corner what looks like some kind of a blue indicator appears for a split second but I can't tell you more than that because it's gone so quickly.

I have installed Version 1.0.11.q beta 11 and added my hosted RU server but when I attempt to login the dialog just goes away without any error or seeming without an attempt to authenticate and I remain signed out. Is there anyone else encountering this? Anything I can do to help debug this problem? Would love to be able to run the Viewer on my Fedora system.

RU Server security

A person could choose to install a host on a PC and provide the IP/DNS name of your RU server (if it's externally facing) and that would make their system available to your viewer if you know their IID but I can't think of a reason someone would do that... It wouldn't necessarily give you access to their system even depending on how they configured the security on the host installation. The RU server just acts as an intermediary to connect host to viewer and/or as IID address book.

(Self-Hosted Server) Connection Issues

Is this something that would address my issue as well or is this different?

(self-hosted ID server) Computer goes offline when I log on

Yup, I thought I would start with the public route in case others run into the same problem. But if we need to go the private route we can do that too. The log has some pretty detailed data about my infrastructure so I definitely would prefer to keep that as private as possible. :)

I am running RU 6.8.0.1 Viewer and Host through RU Server version 2.6. It generally works well but I will occasionally (maybe once in 10 connections) go to logon to a computer that shows online only to have it go offline. I can then attempt to logon to the offline computer and it will go online and  [censored] so I can control it. I managed to actually catch the event in the Viewer log today but wasn't sure what the best way to provide that to you would be. I can show you a small snippet that shows the crux of the issue here:

First, I attempt to connect to the online PC and it goes offline
10-04-2018__11:05:01__834 Connection #387865. Connection to "IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL". Mode: <Authorization>. Connecting...
10-04-2018__11:05:01__839 InetConnection #387865. Internet connection to IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL (ru.cincyblind.org:5655).
10-04-2018__11:05:01__970 InetConnection #387865. Method "Connect" - OK. IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL connected to ID server: ru.cincyblind.org.
10-04-2018__11:05:02__053 InetConnection #387865. Socket error. Name: "IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL", host: "ru.cincyblind.org:5655". Exception class: "EIdConnClosedGracefully". Message: "Connection Closed Gracefully.".
10-04-2018__11:05:02__063 Connection #387865. Connection to "IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL" failed. Mode: <Authorization>.
10-04-2018__11:05:02__067 Context #387865 removed. Mode: <Authorization>.

Then I attempt to log on to the offline PC and it goes online and connects
10-04-2018__11:05:18__514 Connection #736329. Connection to "IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL". Mode: <Authorization>. Connecting...
10-04-2018__11:05:18__519 InetConnection #736329. Internet connection to IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL (ru.cincyblind.org:5655).
10-04-2018__11:05:18__650 InetConnection #736329. Method "Connect" - OK. IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL connected to ID server: ru.cincyblind.org.
10-04-2018__11:05:19__662 InetConnection #736329 - IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL need. Server version: 66003
10-04-2018__11:05:19__865 InetConnection #736329. IT-Support.CINCYBLIND.LOCAL - detection of the direct route - started.

Unknown error when saving MSI

I am running Remote Utilities Viewer 6.8.0.1 on a Windows 10 Pro PC. I am using the MSI Configurator with the Online Configurator option. I am able to go through the whole process and it completes the sending portion and pops up the "Save As" dialog box. When I provide the file name and location and click "Save" it immediately creates a dialog box that says "Unknown error" and nothing is saved. I have done this process in the past without trouble but now it has failed multiple times today.

Can't pre-configure host settings because Host is installed

If I can get it to reproduce on another system I will upload a screen shot. Subsequent testing on the same system didn't reproduce the error even after uninstallation.
