speed up the response time when connected to a computer

Is there a way to speed up the response time when connected to a computer. I was connected to a computer in my own network and the response time was very slow.

Common reasons are bad router/network or AV/Firewall software that interferes with packets sent between Viewer and Host.CBA Brother wrote:

E.g. see this topic https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/forums/forum1/98 . The topic started responded lately that it was a router issue.

Couple of things:
1. This computer is in my same network.
2. There is no Firewall enabled
3. I do have GFI Cloud AntiVirus installed on the computer.
4. My ping response time is 1ms to the machine and RDP works much better than Remote Utilities for some reason. This is not through your program via RDP.

Try to temporarily disable GFI Cloud Antivirus or add Remote Utilities (Viewer and Host) folders to exclusion list.
