In cases when there is an issue connecting to a host when using Viewer version 7.0.1.0 the splash screen takes up the entire screen and seems to have always on top set if the previous mode used was full screen stretch. Is there a hotkey or trick to cancelling the connection attempt or returning to normal mode without having to wait for the connection to time out?
If more than one monitor is connected to the Viewer PC starting task manager from the other monitor seems to allow End Task. If only one monitor is connected task manager appears for a moment then hides behind the splash screen. Sometimes Alt-Tab seems to work to bring other windows forward, other times doesn't seem to have any effect.

Hello Greg,
Thank you for your message.
I'm glad to hear you've found the solution! Please note that you can also re-assign any of the available hotkeys, including the F12 hotkey for the "Change view mode" command, to your custom values - this can be done in the Viewer's Options -> Hotkeys tab.
Hope that helps.
