MSI Configurator No option for silent install anymore

Hi I am on the latest version of Viewer 7.0.2.0 and the MSI configurator no longer offers the option to remove the popup when installing to client. So I can no longer remotely deploy the client as it pops up to ask if they are sure they want it to install or not.

Hi Matthew,

I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we had to add that popup because some antivirus software (especially Eset) used to block or even remove custom-built modules because of that possibility of silently installing the software without any warnings for the remote user whatsoever.

Will there be a workaround for this as we deploy to a lot of different sites and It would be a pain to install on every single site manually.

Hi Matthew,

This message only shows when one-click or agent installer options are used. It doesn't affect automated installation using the standard msi package.

Ah, I did not realise that the standard installer was an msi file. thank you for pointing this out.
