Just updated and I can only agree, the banner in the bottom right corner is in the way. It's really frustrating to have it there, please make it possible to deactivate it!

I agree also with the capability to fade it or move it. As stated earlier, it blocks any information on windows posted over and behind it. If I can't read what's on my current screen, then this notification is restricting the valid usage on my computer. Based on it's position, it really limits my ability to use the down arrow when scrolling, as sometimes the scroll on mouse just doesn't get it precisely where I want it.

Hello Rob,

We have removed the notification for direct connections. You should update your version (Viewer and Host) to 7.1.1.0, now available for download.

Thanks.

Hey great!! Thank you very much for implementing that. (Now just invert that world map before I go blind ;) )

The message is not removed for my reverse (but still direct) connection, even though I am on 7.1.1.0. Doesn't bother me much AND I rather think that reverse connections should display the message (they are as easily exploitable as the Internet-ID-based connections), but it's clearly not true that "We have removed the notification for direct connections" - not for *all* direct connections you didn't.

Hello Rob,

(Now just invert that world map before I go blind ;) )

Do you mean that your connection gets stuck on the "world map" window? If this is the case, please try enabling the Use legacy capture mode feature in the Host Settings -> Other tab. Please make sure to restart Host after enabling the feature in order for the changes to be applied.

Hope that helps.

No, sorry... that was more of a light mode / dark mode thing (If you are say in a dark room and access a full screen host, the world map can be quite bright.
I realize this wasn't the right forum post to put that.

Hi,
the banner covers / mixes exactly the other banners present in the same point.

Please the more transparent banner or give me the opportunity to close it for a few minutes !!

TY

Hello Rob,

Thank you for the clarification.

I will forward this feature request to our development department for a review, to see if we can add the dark mode feature in our future updates.

Please let us know if you have more questions.
