Hello Ted,
Thank you for your message.
The persistent notification banner is only displayed when you connect to a remote Host using Viewer registered with a free license key or in trial mode and use Internet-ID connection. Currently the message can only be removed/hidden when connecting to a remote Host via Direct connection or fr om a Viewer registered with any commercial license. Unfortunately, it's not possible to move the notification banner yet.
However, we plan to implement an improvement that will allow users to hide this notification banner on the Viewer's side. In addition, it will be possible to change the corner wh ere the notification banner is displayed - this feature will be available in one of the next updates as well.
Hope that helps.

This annoying and persistent message on the screen was not there in a previous version. Of course, they now want you to purchase their expensive license in order to have this message removed!

Hello Maro,
Thank you for your message.
Please note that the notification banner was added for security purposes - we want to make our software as user friendly as possible so that the remote user is always aware that their computer is being controlled and/or monitored.
In addition, please also note that you can also use Direct connection in which case the notification banner will not be displayed.
Last but not least, we will improve the banner in the upcoming updates to make it less invasive.
Hope that helps.

Dear Remote Utilities administrators and developers,
it has been quite a few years since I started to use the outstandingly impressive software you created. However, a couple of months ago a truly annoying warning message started to pop up at the corner of the screen, thus diminishing the work comfort and convenience. To this very post, I have attached a relevant screenshot. The warning pop-up window says “Your computer has been connected in a remote session […]”. That window affected the efficiency very deeply as in some types of software it pops up right in front of a zoom-in-and-out control slider. There still is a possibility to use the controller even though it is obscured by the warning window but the visibility is so severely impeded now.
I would hereby like to kindly ask you for taking this significant inconvenience into consideration and at the same time I could even come up with some suggestions:
• An option of clicking “Yes, I am aware that my computer has been connected in a remote session […]” after which the pop-up warning window would disappear.
• An option for you to undo this update and to get rid of that pop-up warning totally so the software can again be used as it was before.
• A dynamic option of freely choosing the area of a screen to locate the pop-up warning at any moment the user wishes to.
I truly hope my impressions and opinion about being a Remote Utilities’ latest update’s user is going to be carefully taken into consideration and that the above-mentioned impediments are going to be eliminated.
Hence, I would like to sincerely thank you in advance for that.
Yours faithfully
Filip Jakub Ulatowski

Hello Filip,
Thank you for your feedback.
We're definitely considering how we can make the notification banner less intrusive in our future updates. For example, we're planning to add a feature to hide the banner for Viewer's side within the remote session window or to select a preferred corner of the window to display it. We hope to implement at least one of these features in our future updates, but there's no specific ETA on that yet.
Please let us know if you have more questions.
