Hello there.
We need to update server ID to a new one on every single computer we have. Is there any way to update them for hosts in bulk or atleast do it remotely without having to acccess their desktop? (Registry etc.)
Thanks!

Hello Aleš,
Thank you for your message.
Do you mean that you want to update the remote Hosts to the latest version 7.1.7.0? If this is the case, then of course, you can update your Hosts remotely via the Simple Update feature (you can update multiple Hosts just by selecting them in your address book) or via using the Remote Install Tool.
Hope that helps.

thank you for your reply. By 'updating Server ID' I meant our server address has changed and we just need to rewrite it on our hosts to a new one.
e.g. Host has a Server ID of 'old.servername' but we need to make it look like 'new.servername' on all machines to be able to connect to them in future.

Hello Aleš,
Thank you for the clarification.
Of course, you can update any Host Settings remotely via the Remote Settings feature - Host will be restarted automatically after you submit the changes.
Alternatively, you can also generate a custom installation file using the MSI Configurator Tool - for example you can create an MSI package with updated RU Server address and then use it to update your Hosts via GPO or Remote Install Tool. This will allow you to update the Host Settings remotely as well.
Hope that helps.
