Hello,
I just discovered the cause the make some applications unusable (blank areas, mainly).
This happens when the remote monitor is OFF.
Example to reproduce the problem:
When I open a text file with Notepadd++ and the monitor is OFF, the text is invisible (you can't even sel ect it).
If I ask someone to switch the remote monitor ON, the text became visible and selectable/usable.
Why this behaviour? I work fr om home and I need to use the work remote pc.
But I can't ask someone to switch the monitor on every time I need to work remotely.
How can I solve this?
TIA
tony

Other application with same behaviour: Adobe Illustrator.
Please note that even  [censored] doesn't start if the monitor is off.
My question is: what to do if a desktop doesn't have the monitor attached?
TIA

Hello Tony,

Thank you for your message.

Could you please try enabling the Use legacy capture mode feature located in the Host Settings -> Other tab and see if this helps to resolve the issue? After enabling the feature, please make sure to restart Host in order for the changes to be applied.

Hope that helps.

Hello Pauline,
thanks for your reply.
I just checked and the remote host "use legacy capture mode" is already on.

[UPDATE] I tried disabling "use legacy capture mode" on the host and restarted the host: it seems to work.
Crossing fingers...
