Remote Printing removed every time Simple Update done

For the umpteenth time, I have done a Simple Update to update a host version, only to have the user complain the next day that remote printing doesn't work. Each time I have to connect to their PC and reinstall the driver.
Can we have this not be removed during update, or auto reinstall itself after. Would be very helpful.
