Forcing IP Ports to Host

Hi

I want to connect to my PC at home, but my office has blocked a lot of ports on firewall at work.

I used to use  [censored] as it did everything as port 80 which was never blocked.

Is it possible to force Remote Utilities to use port 80 or 443?

Mike
Hello Mike,

Thank you for your message.

Remote Utilities uses ports 5655 and 443 for our Internet-ID connection, so it might work for you to simply use Internet-ID connection - our software will automatically try using port 5655 and then 443 to establish a connection.
In addition, you can always use Direct connection which allows you to use any custom port value.
For more information on ports used by Remote Utilities, please see this page.
