Error when running the Host

When I click the exe file to start the Host I get the following error message:
Exception EThread in module rutserv.exe at 000D20CC.
Thread Error: The Handle is invalid (6).
Please help.

Arthur,
You should use our automatically created shortcut to start the Host. You can find it in Start -> All programs -> Remote Utilities - Host -> Start Host.
Or you can create it by yourself. It should looks like
"%the_way_to_your_Host_folder%\rutserv.exe /start"

I wanted to test the Viewer and the Host.
I ran the Viewer and a window appeared that let me customize the view.
When I ran the Host on my computer, there were no messages but nothing seemed to happen.
Is this the way the program operates?
Is the reason that nothing happened because I did not have my Viewer working?
If this was a live run, and the remote user ran the Host would I then be looking at their computer?
