I manage a small group of computers at my place of business. Less than 10. Most of the day I'm at work and I can use the Viewer from within our LAN. And of course it works great! Thanks RemoteUtilities!
But sometimes I need to access the machine fr om home. In order to do that I need a separate instance of the Viewer installed on my home PC. Sure, no problem. I can do that. Once the I've added a work computer to my home Viewer using the Internet ID, everything is great.
But wouldn't it be great if both Viewers could be exactly the same without anything more than a simple login? It would be great if both Viewers had the ability to sync all settings between each other, so that any new computer or changed setting would automagically appear on the other Viewer when it was next accessed.
But until then, is there a way to do this now, perhaps with a third party tool or manually? If I wanted to copy all of the settings from my work Viewer and paste them onto my home Viewer, wh ere would I look for that information? Wh ere are those settings stored?

Hello Jamie,
Thank you for the kind words!
You can share your address book in multiple ways. Please, refer to this tutorial. Personally, I think using RU Server for syncing (method 3) would be overkill, so you can just utilize your Dropbox or Box.net account to share the address book (method 2). Or, if you don't change the contents of the address book often, you can simply manually export/import the address book file (method 1).
Hope that helps.

Perfect. Thank you. I think the Dropbox/Box route will suit me just fine.
