Windows 10, Host v6.6
I have five Host users, all 6.6 and Windows 10
On one system, Host fails, repeatedly, I have un-installed and re-installed Host at least six times.
On my last attempt, did a un-install - then edited the Registry and deleted all entries
for Host.
Installed - failed within two days (again)
the problem - the sub-folder "Logs" for Host keeps disappearing - yup gone !!
Any ideas?
Regards,
Frank

Avast
Hello Frank,
Please, try the following:
1. First add Host installation path to Avast exceptions. This is how to do it https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB168
2. Completely uninstall Host.
3. Install it back and see if the problem persists.
Hope that helps.

Sorry for the delayed response... subject computer was not local.
Had another/different problem with Avast, so canned it, installed Bitdefender.
"Host" has been solid for three days.
Thanks

Hello Frank,
Alas, modern antivirus programs may be a bit overzealous :)
You can add the Host as an exception to Bitdefender just in case. Please, refer this page for more information https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/antivirus-issues/
