Hi!
I was using RU for the last few days, and i think its the best Remote Software i've tried so far.
I have just a question about the RU Server working.
Using it as a Relay server, means that ALL traffic goes thru it?
I mean, not only gives IDs to Clients, but also manages the Remote Conection itself?
In that case, that means that the fastest Internet conection will give me flawless performance on the Remote session?
Thank you in advance! Keep going with this great software

Hello Cristian,
Thank you for the kind words.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have other questions.

Yes. RU Server is supposed to be a completely autonomous solution meant to replace our public servers for users who rather prefer to "go on their own". Besides, RU Server provides unique features not available in the public service, namely address book sync and authorization server.Using it as a Relay server, means that ALL traffic goes thru it?
Basically, yes. The closer your Viewers and Hosts are to the server, the better the performance should be. We recommend that you deploy the server on the Viewer side.In that case, that means that the fastest Internet conection will give me flawless performance on the Remote session?
Don't hesitate to ask if you have other questions.
