Exit full-screen on Mac?

F12 doesn't seem do do anything using all the combinations of fn ctrl option cmd I could think of. Is there some other mechanism for function key entry on the Mac version?

Oh duh I discovered I can get to the app menus above the full-screen display. Never mind. Still would be interested to know about how function keys are mapped.

Unfortunately, no dedicated shortcuts yet except those standard for macOS, such as Globe + F, and the green expand button.

Thanks much. I'm new to using Macs, and mapping functionality to what I'm familiar with is involving a lot of head scratching.
