Self-hosted mini license, have 1 user login servicing about 25 computers. All are on most up-to-date installations. Have been having trouble logging in sometimes, the connection window just tries 5 attempts at login but closes without any success or error message. Checking the logs shows a message: "License error. The number of active channels is exceeded. Count: 3"

What does this mean, and how do I resolve this? What is defined as an active channel? Can it be solved by closing any open viewer programs running on computers? Do I need a specific license upgrade? Will it help to create a new user login profile?
Thanks for any help

Hello Keith,

Thank you for your message.

Yes, if there is a 1-tech license all Viewers must be closed on other machines. That is, the app itself should be closed (File -> Exit).

Please, make sure no Viewers are running other than the one you are using and try again.

Also, please make sure that your RU Server is registered with the same license as described here.
