Hello,

This is because Microsoft started to detect the .msi file as unsafe, although the file has been around for several months now and is signed with an EV Code Signing certificate/signature.

Here is what you can do:

1. Click on the ellipsis (...) in the Downloads menu and select 'Report this file as safe'. A form will open will allows you to send a feedback on the file to Microsoft.

2. Submit a false positive to MS using this form.

On our end we will send reports also.

Thank you.

.

I clicked the "Report this file as safe" in the menu in Microsoft Edge on Windows 11 and it did nothing. Tried multiple times. Microsoft doesn't make it easy to report a false positive at all, with their Smart Screen.

I reported it using the form instead.

Hi Steven,

Additionally, we have submitted a dispute with Microsoft regarding this detection.

This further highlights the randomness of modern antivirus software detections—honestly, even rolling dice might be a more reliable method for identifying malware. The lack of customer pressure and the failure to hold antivirus companies accountable for the damage they cause by falsely classifying legitimate software as malware has led to this unfortunate situation.
