Is there any way to start viewer directly on second monitor? I have Dual Monitor on viewer and want to open connection to host always (if second monitor connected) on second monitor.

Hello Boris,

Thank you for your message.

Could you please clarify if you mean that you want Viewer to remember its position on your second monitor and automatically open the main Viewer window in the same region when run? If this is the case, unfortunately, there's no such feature available within Remote Utilities. Moreover, it seems like this feature is not supported by the Windows 10 itself. Perhaps, this can be done with some third-party software. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please let us know if you have other questions.

Hi Boris,
I also am using 2 monitors with my system. After lunching the viewer just drag it to your second monitor. Before you do that make sure you adjust the size of it, you can make it full screen as you wish after dragging it to your next monitor. The is a chance it will reopen to that monitor the next time.

Hi Joseph,
Thank you for response.
When I open Viewer, It's used first monitor to show main window. After it I open connection to host - in my case it should allocate all space on second monitor, and have to work in fullscreen view mode. Instead of this it open fullscreen view on first monitor. I have to switch it to normal view, move window to second monitor and change mode to fullscreen. It's happened every time I run a host. Kind of annoying.

Hi Boris,
Like I told you, I am also using dual monitors with my system. I open the viewer, drag it to the second monitor and from there I connect to my hots the way I choose. After closing, when I reopen the viewer it open on the second monitor automatically unless the monitor is off. Try it as I suggest and let me know. I am using Windows 10 Pro, the latest updated version.

Hello Boris and Joseph,

Joseph, thank you for your input on this matter.

Just wanted to let you know that we have a similar feature in our wishlist that would allow Viewer to remember the position of some windows in the multi-monitor configuration. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a specific ETA on this feature yet, but we will definitely implement it in our future updates as well as some other improvements for the multi-monitor setups.

Please let us know if you have other questions.
