Many have been asking a for a say " YouTube" video for creating a self-hosted server but nothing yet. I would think this would be to your advantage taking the load off you guys, not sure why the resistance but still nothing. There are lots of questions that can be answered by this video rather than you links on how to. Please consider hammering a video out on this procedure, Im sure it would only take a hour of your time to do so but it would be invaluable for us the customer.

Hello John,

Thank you for your message.

We actually do plan to make a how-to video on setting up the RU Server and some other features as well - we're currently in the process of improving and revamping our Knowledge Base and the Documentation guides, so hopefully, we will able to add more video tutorials soon. Sorry for keeping you waiting.

Please let us know if you have other question.

Cant wait! hopefully you will include how to bypass the firewall using the exsisting ports or adding the ports to firewalls like Sophos, Sonicwall, and others,, hopefull very soon.

Hello John,

Thank you for your feedback.

Actually, we already have a quick guide on setting up the port forwarding here. Unfortunately, we most probably will not be able to make more in-depth tutorials on setting up the port forwarding rules since these are network-related settings/configurations and we believe that the firewall's vendor will definitely have a more detailed guide on bypassing/forwarding the ports within their specific firewall. Please also note that according to our Support Policy, we can only provide support on Remote Utilities software itself and not the third-party software.

Hope that helps.

Thank you I've seent hat but a video would go very far even if it was just about setting up your software only. like all the other companys do that sell similar software. thanks
