When I use file transfer and start moving data from one computer to the other (by pressing F6), and these files are already existing, and I want to stop this by pressing ESC, than man original files are deleted.
THIS IS A SEVERE BUG. The files are moved to nothing.
Unfortunately, we couldn't reproduce the issue. Could you please let us know what version of Remote Utilities you're using and also what are the OSs running on the Host and Viewer machines?
Hi, I use Remote Utilities Viewer 7.1.2.0 on Windows 10. The host ist Version Version 7.0.0.3 on Microsoft Server 2019 Datacenter. I checked it twice: copy file to server. Then move it to the server and press ESC when the overwrite-dialog comes. Then the original file is lost. Best regards.
Could you please try updating your Host to the latest version 7.1.2.0 and see if this helps to resolve the issue, since in this case it is most certainly caused by a version mismatch and/or an outdated Host. You can update your Host remotely via the Simple Update feature.
