Phone app won't connect.

I have Motorola moto g4 & have today downloaded the app. The app version is: 7.0.3.0m12.3.1.
My home computer is Windows 7 & the host is running with version 6.10.10.0.
I have set the Idn on host & app.
If I try to connect it shows 'Preparing' for a few seconds then nothing. No indication of why, no message, no nothing. So I have no idea how to make it work.

Thank you for your message.

Please try updating your Host to the most recent version 7.1.2.0 and see if you're able to connect to it after it's updated to the latest version.

I've been busy so just tried this, ie: I've updated my host computer to this new version 7.1.2.0 as you suggested & it now works.
