I've been a user of this program for many many years and have to say its one of the best programs out there for remote connections to your office or just plain old home computer, sure there are others but the cost for some for those are just ridiculous. We always hear the bad things in the forums but this is one time I have to say I have been a very happy camper with the way they system here works from everything from the price and affordability which is the biggest deterrent from other program's to all the features offered and up time.  Its been a pleasure being part of this group and ability to have a program that I use daily without difficulty's . Thank you to you all !

Actually I also use free lic version for years. And I am really happy with all possibilities RU provide. Last year I reach 10 computers in the  Viewer limit, and for couple more connection I have to keep on desktop text file with ip addresses and ports to create and delete connections back and forth. Not big deal, I am not using such connection often, but I am ready to pay $99 "STARTER" for comfortable usage. Only one thing prevent me to pay right now - this license bound to current major RU version. After v8.* will be released I have to buy it again, and not sure I am really want to pay $99 every few years just for comfortable usage of viewer.
So, if it's possible to create special type of licence to add 10 more remote connection to viewer and not bound this licence to current version - it's will be good opportunity  for users like me pay for it once instead of use free lic.

Hello Boris,

Thank you for your message.

Please note that according to our Upgrade Policy, if you’ve purchased a license within a year prior to the date of a major version release, you’re eligible for a free upgrade. All existing customers who purchased license outside of the is time frame, are eligible for a 50% discount. In addition, once you purchased a license, you can use it forever regardless of its version - for example, all users who own a commercial license for version 6 can still use it the same way they did before.
However, I’ll still forward your feedback to my coworkers for a review.

Let us know if you have more questions.

I have to say that Remote Utilities offers amazing functionality at a great price. I am looking into using software to start an MSP and this will be a great addition. I am worried about the security of the software. I'm worried about hackers using this as an opening to remote access computers that I am meant to protect.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your message.

I am worried about the security of the software. I'm worried about hackers using this as an opening to remote access computers that I am meant to protect.

Remote Utilities has a number of security features some of which are enabled by default and work automatically, for example, data encryption and Host identity check. Other security features you can also enable manually, such as 2-factor authentication, Ask user permission or IP filter. Remote Utilities can also work in an isolated environment or use your own self-hosted RU Server. In addition, please refer to this Security page to overview more of the security features available in Remote Utilities.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I have enabled 2FA on my connections and I am exploring IP whitelisting
