I think you guys should implement your software by adding a mic feature together with speaker so that people can listen to the live calls coming on the desktop Like software Screen Connect it has that feature
Please note that Remote Utilities already offers this feature - you can find it as the Voice and Video Chat connection mode. This connection mode allows a tech to talk and/or listen to the remote user.
