Is there are way to edit text files from within the remote terminal? If not, is there a way to use RemoteUtilities to edit a remote text file outside of starting a remote desktop session?
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to edit a text file directly within the Terminal mode. You can either edit a text file on a remote machine via Full Control mode. Alternatively, you can also connect to a remote machine using the File Transfer connection mode, right-click on the target file and select Edit.
