Hi. Is it a bug in the configurator or ist it simply not possible
to create an deployable MSI package, while the host service on the computer is still installed?
I could understand, if it would be running, but even the simple PRESENCE of the host will impede the MSI config?
Is there a workaround of that?
Because it's relly annoying, if I always have to completely uninstall the host, create the MSI and then reinstall the host again.
Beside that... nice peace of software. I'm going to buy the starter license for me.

Hello David,

Thank you for your message. To use the MSI Configurator on the same computer where the Host is installed, you just need to exit the Host (this will stop the Host service). Uninstallation is not required.

If you still receive a message that the MSI Configurator cannot continue, it means the Host service is still running. Also, ensure that you are using the most recent version of the software. In earlier versions, some configuration options did require the Host to be uninstalled.

Hope that helps.
