If a client already has RU host installed, can you allow 1-click install to completely install without asking the user to click "OK" at the end? They tend to blow themselves up because they're not paying attention and immediately click "CANCEL/NO" which of course causes us a LOT of grief.
We push this out to clients who are not on a domain and we are not local to them so the remote-install via RU viewer is not compatible due to the varying bandwidth of the end user/users.

Hi Michael,
In order to do that you need to build the one-click installer with the following options:
On step 2
https://www.remoteutilities.com/images/forum/topic489_1.png
On step 3
https://www.remoteutilities.com/images/forum/topic489_21.png
https://www.remoteutilities.com/images/forum/topic489_2.png
On step 4

This build will update the Host to the latest version, but the ID, password and other Host settings will remain the same. Also, no notifications to the user will be shown other than standard Windows message about whether the user wants to run such-and-such executable.

Can you run the MSI installer with the command-line switch "/passive" or do you have to build a 1-click EXE?

Hello Bretislav,
If you need a permanent access to the remote computer use the Host instead. Everything you can do with the Agent you can also do with the Host. If you need to configure attended access with the Host, just use the Notification panel and Ask user permission options.
There is no such thing as "updating Agent" in common sense because you do not install the Agent, you run its executable right away. When run, the Agent generates a new ID and password. However, this ID and password stays the same the second, third etc. time you run the Agent on the same PC.Bretislav Duda wrote:

Do you mean Agent or Host?
