Hello,
Can you please clarify:
1. What was the total file size you were trying to transfer?
2. What operation were you using (Copy/Move)?
3. What error did you get?

Damdam,
Even when you use the Move command (F6) the program never deletes a remote file before it is completely transferred.
Anyway, can you please send us the log file/files. You can find the logs in the C:\Program Files\Remote Utilities - Host\Logs folder. Also, let me know what operating system is installed on both ends. Thanks!

Hello,
This is probably a stupid user error. Can it be repaired? To Copy files from remote PC to the local PC; marked the files; then accidentally pressed F6 Move instead of F5 Copy.
In panic I pressed a button to "cancel" (do not remember the exact text on the button in the dialogue box, in my native language) to cancel this operation.
What seems to happen was that the system deleted the files before moving them to a new location, but since the operation was cancelled by me, they were just deleted and moved nowhere? I cannot find the files in the Remote Utilities window or in the File Explorer, they seem to be gone.
Is it possible to find or recover files deleted from the remote computer?
Do they still exist somewhere, and if so, how could I find them?
Windows 7 on both PCs.
Best regards
Bjørn

Hello,
Thanks for letting me know anyway.
So I guess there is no way I could recover the files?
I mean a "simple" way that could be done over a realtively slow line, without disrupting a ongoing data logging.
