I downloaded the host software on the target computer and the viewer software on the admin computer. On the target computer, the Host icon does not appear in my tray. I have tried connecting direct and via Internet-ID; in both cases my admin computer says the Host computer is offline, which is note the case. I have tried right-clicking the "Start Host" icon, but it does nothing.
Host & Viewer Versions: 6.6
Host Windows Version 10
Viewer Windows Version 8.1

Hello Matt,
Thank you for your post.
You may need to restart the Host PC. Usually, restart is not required but sometimes it is.
Let me know if the problem persists.

Hi Matt,
Please, try the steps here https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/host-icon-is-not-being-displayed-in-the-system-tray/ . Let me know if that didn't help either.
Thanks.

Thanks Conrad. I had to uninstall and re-install, but seems to be working well now.
Thanks!
Matt
