Hello, I am testing a trial version of Remote Utilities and have a question.
When I open a connection to a remote host using the Viewer, the Viewer window startup size is always reset to some default that is fairly small (about 780x440).
I have to manually resize/maximize the opened window every time after connecting.
Is it possible to configure the default window size?
Or perhaps better: is it possible to restore the window size that was used last time I was connected to the remote host?
I am running the Viewer with 'tabbed view' disabled and have configured the view mode to 'Stretch'

Hello Ton,
Thank you for your message.
Thank you for your message.
Is this happening when you connect to different remote Hosts or the same Host? When I open a connection to a remote host using the Viewer, the Viewer window startup size is always reset to some default that is fairly small (about 780x440).

Hi Ton,
Does the window size change each time you connect to different Hosts, or does it change even when you connect to the same Host?
For example, you connected to Host A and resized the window to your liking. Then you closed the session, reconnected to that Host again and opened the session window. Does the window keep its size or do you have to resize it again?

Hi Conrad
I know this is an old post but I have similar issues
I'll give you an example of what my issue is
I work from home on computer A but during my work day I have to regulary remotely access computers B & C, which are in the office
Computer B I only use Full Control
Computer C I use both Full Control & File Transfer
I would also like to mention that computer A has 2 screens, computer B has 1, and computer C has 2
In the morning, when I first open up full control on remote utilities for either computer B or C
The screen is small (like a default size) but once I stretch to the desired size it will stay that size no matter how many times I close or open
This only works though if I have Full Control of 1 computer
If I have both computers on Full Control and have to close and re open one of them, then the size it opens at is the small default size like I have when I first open up Full Control
This is also an issue when I only have Computer B open on Full Control and File Transfer open for Computer C
If I have to close and re open my Full Control of Computer B then it reverts back to the default size
I was wondering if there was a way I could get round this
I was thinking maybe having a separate tab any time I have Full Control open
That way I can close and re open either computer and the re opened size would not change from my originally set size
or if there was a way to set say Computer B to be x by x and Computer C as y x y

Hello Finlay,
Thank you for your message.
Could you please clarify if your both Hosts and Viewer are updated to the latest version 7.0.2.0?
In addition, please try enabling the Tabbed view mode in the Viewer Options -> Remote screen tab if you don't use it yet and see if this helps.
Looking forward to your reply.
