Hello Lee,

According to Microsoft it takes them 5-7 days to re-verify our account data. We will try to speed things up and contact them too.

But how will we know when it's been fixed?

Lee, we will notify you about it in this thread. Besides, once Microsoft does its part they should update their records accordingly and this problem should be fixed.

Hello,

We took measures to fix this problem now. Could you please confirm that you no longer have an issue with the monitor driver.

Thank you.

Do we need to download and install RU Host again?

I've tried the driver from the Host Options Drivers tab of my existing 6.8.0.1 installation but that still fails.

The download page still only has v6.8 to available.

Hello Pete,

You, you don't have to. "Fixing the problem" in this case just means signing a few agreements with Microsoft and having our driver "approved". Perhaps, not immediately but with the next Windows update.

I've tried the driver from the Host Options Drivers tab of my existing 6.8.0.1 installation but that still fails.

How exactly does it fail? Do you receive an error message?

Hello Sam,

Thank you for your message.

Since recently Microsoft requires additional signing called "attestation signing". This is in fact double signature - Microsoft's signature is applied on top of our signature.

We went through this procedure in the Microsoft Development Center and had our driver approved/signed, but this update will be available with 6.9.0.1 beta 2 release.

Important note from Microsoft website:

An attestation signed driver will only work for Windows 10. It will not work for other versions of Windows, such as Windows Server 2016,Windows 8.1, or Windows 7.
