Cannot install Host Software

The installer quits before it does anything and says 'The wizard was interrupted before Remote Utilities - Host could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.'

No matter how many times I try it, it does not work. I have disabled anti-virus shields during the install, but that doesn't help either.

What am I missing?

Thank you for your message.

Could you please clarify if you install the Host using the vanilla Host installer ( host6.x.msi ) or your custom Host installer?

Also, could you please send us the installation log. The installation log can be found in this location: C:\ProgramData\Remote Utilities\install.log
You can send the log file to support@remote-utilities.com.
