When connecting to a Windows 10 Pro workstation using the latest version (6.10.9.0) I am having an issue when UAC is asks if you want to make changes to the computer. This dialog box does not show on my end and I have to get the user to click yes and then input the administrator user name and password. Then after they click yes and input the admin account I can no longer interact with their computer (click or type). This wasn't an issue in Windows 7. Any way to fix this? I have quite a few new Windows 10 workstations on a domain that request admin privileges.

Hello Rick,

Thank you for your message.

Could you please clarify if you have Host or Agent on the remote side?

Looking forward to your reply.

My apologies I should have included that info. I am using an Agent on the remote side. I can not install the host for security reasons.

Hello Rick,

Thank you for the clarification.

The UAC is shown because some actions require administrative privileges. Agent cannot override UAC, unless it is run as an administrator. Here is a related documentation article that might be helpful: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/cannot-override-uac-on-the-remote-pc/.

Could you please try using a Restart Agent as... command and see if the issue persists.

Hope that helps.
