UPDATE: I found there was a setting once connected on the host PC to Lock the Mouse. I disabled this, and now it works fine.

I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my Viewer PC - but since then the host (remote) PC can't move their mouse arrow at all if I (Viewer) am connected to that host.

This was not a problem before I reinstalled windows. BTW, I saved all my program data files and app data files and copied them all over to the new PC, so most everything seemed configured on the new install exactly like it was on the old RU.

Is there a setting on either the host pc or my viewer PC that can say whether the host keeps control of their mouse arrow movement even if I'm connected to them?

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

I'm glad to hear you've figured out the issue and it works for you now! If you mean the Lock host's mouse and keyboard checkbox in the Connection Properties - indeed, this checkbox locks the remote Host's input when enabled.

In addition, please note that I've moved your message from iOS related forum section to the related thread you've created in the Windows forum section. For Windows-related questions please post in the Windows version forum. Thank you.

Please let us know if you have more questions. We're happy to help!
