Hello Michael,
Currently, there's is a comment field available in connection properties. Navigate to Properties -> Additional properties -> Comment field.
It's not rich text though, just a basic field. You can see its contents for different records if you switch to the Details view in the Viewer and hover your mouse pointer over the Comment column.
