Hello Conrad,

I would like to have the option to start RUT - Server as a service.

In the settings, I can hide the tray icon but a service will be even more discreet.
Especially if the "administrator" of the server doesn't made changes to the settings often.

Hello Genie,

RUT-Server runs as a service. If you run services.msc (Services Console) you can see 'Usoris R-Server' in the list of services, which is run automatically.

While you can hide the program icon and disable connection notification, we do not provide an option to conceal the program's process in the Task Manager list of processes, if that what you meant. Because this will make the program kind of shady and antivirus software may treat RUT as suspicious.

Thank you for the quick answer Conrad.

No, I don't want to hide program's process in the task manager.

I have made a mistake because RUT - Server has a tray icon and for me a service (by default) doesn't interact with desktop.
Also, for me RUT - Server was running as a program, not a service...

Sorry !

Hmmm. Do you just want to hide the icon at system tray? I think you can just tweak the Windows registry for this.
