On the helpdesk license, I could install this on a laptop to be mobile and then give clients the ability to install the server software, and I can then connect to 1 client at a time. Is this correct?
Hi Stephen,

On the helpdesk license, I could install this on a laptop to be mobile

Yes, you can install RUT-Viewer and take the laptop with you anywhere where there's an Internet connection.

and then give clients the ability to install the server software

Yes.

and I can then connect to 1 client at a time. Is this correct?

Correct. Buying 1 Helpdesk license you can occupy 1 Internet-ID channel.

So with 1 license on that laptop, would you be able to connect to two, or three clients at a the same time? or would you have to end the one, and start the next? Also, does the Helpdesk license allow for Unattended connection?

Hello,

Thanks for your questions.

Yes, you'll be able to connect to several clients simultaneously. We don't limit the Helpdesk license in that way.

Also, does the Helpdesk license allow for Unattended connection?

Yes.
UPDATE: We have simplified our licensing even more. Now if you purchase a commercial license you only need to choose a preferred pricing model: per operator or per remote PC. Program functionality is the same for both pricing models (i.e. full functionality of Remote Utilities).

Here's license calculator.

Thanks for the confirmation. So for pro license, it's only good for one PC? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hi Nikkil,

Not exactly.  :) The Pro (or rather Commercial license, as we call it) is good for as many PCs as you purchase the license for.

If you purchase the license on a "per remote PC" basis for, say, 100 remote machines, then you can install and register the Host on 100 remote machines.

If you would rather prefer to pay on a "per operator" basis, then you need to pay only for the number of admin machines (Viewer machines) that will be working simultaneously. The number of remote installations will be unlimited.

Here's our license calculator. Play with it and you will see what I mean.

Thanks!
