Blank the host's screen = no local thumbnails?

version 6.5.0.8 (running private server)
When Blank the host's screen is enabled, it appear the thumbnail in the viewer is black.... technically a bug?
Remote access works fine...
Ive also put a request in the features request around about this...

Hi, please see the below image.... I notice this icon flashes with messages, could there be a "message" area instead like VMWare have, allowing to slide the amount of area used up and down...
I clearly have only spent about 5 seconds creating this image, but you get the idea...

MSI one click installer seems to be random if it works

After un-installing, removing the registry, then using the MSI to install manually that worked.
However on a completely new site with another server 2008 R2, i have IDENTICAL issue, however this one i wont get away with rebooting loads of times....
Theres definitely an issue with the one click installer somewhere...

UPDATE
It crashed again, it appears to be when its maybe pulling a status screen or when trying to open a host in the viewer.

DIdnt do anything different, it just come up with the error window.

The viewer showed an error box titled the name of this thread in this box was the details i pasted above.
The viewring didnt "close" only showed the above, however i closed and re-opened it to be sure it was ok.
Its done it 3 times, once on 6.5.0.5 and 2 on 6.5.0.8

Server upgraded (didnt need a restart)...
Created an new MSI, appears to work, except this one server (2008r2), so what do i need to do to remove the install completely (files, registry etc..) so i can attempt a new install?

Windows 7 Pro, ASUS Dual XEON motherboard, 64Gb of RAM.
Seen this in both v6.5.0.5 (had a viewer open), and now in version 6.5.0.8 (upgrading a client, after it was completed about 2 mins later), only seen twice
