Liam,

You are correct. After years of being told "soon" and "one of our top priorities" I have lost faith. Not only am I looking for a replacement product but I am making sure I let people know how well Remote Utilities delivers on its promises.

If you know of any good replacements, let me know. I have been trying out several over the past few months and hope to make a move in the near future.

Maybe it is just me, but over 20 weeks (and counting) seems a tad more than "a few". Although that might be expected since they said "We certainly plan to release Host for Mac/Linux this year." back in 2020.

That is excellent! You can post here when it is available and I will come running ;-)

Sure, next question: How do I get involved with testing the Mac/Linux version? I have multiple Mac and Linux VMs and physical machines I can test it on. I have plenty of experience with beta testing all the way back to IBM in their OS/2 program so I think I could make some contributions. Let's get this ball rolling!

Are you still on schedule to release by the end of June? The end of next month? Please? Pretty please? Like it has been YEARS since this was "a priority". I have my upgrade money ready!

Been a couple months since the last reply (in addition to the several years of "we're working on it!") so I thought I would ask....any news or updates? This is a REALLY IMPORTANT feature to some of us.

File transfer, I can get around that with dropbox etc, viewing on different OSs, I can get around that with virtual machines, AD integration, I can get around with scripts, scaling issues I can live with, port manager, I have never had a real problem with ports so that is pretty useless to me. But not being able to help clients running MacOS and to a lesser extent Linux is killing me.

I recreated my install package and it indeed uses a DigiCert certificate now instead of the Sectigo one and says it is valid. I will test it out but this makes sense and should solve the problem. Thanks!

Yup, that is the same thing I have here. Does that mean that Remote Utilities canceled the certificate?

When installing a custom package made from the MSI Configurator in 6.10.10.0 I get a pop-up that blocks the install with no way around it. The image attached is basically what happens although for a different application.

The only way around it is to edit the registry and reboot the computer. This just started happening maybe a couple of months ago or so. If I do the base install of the host downloaded from remoteutilities.com I do not have this issue but it is a pain because I use the MSI Configurator to set a password and email the ID etc to me so I don't have to try and remember to write it down or take a picture.

Anyone know a way to stop this from happening?
