Thank you for the clarification.
Sorry for the late reply, my message seems to not to appear somehow. However, I have forwarded all the information you provided to the development team and we're currently investigating into it.
Also, it would be very helpful if you could send us your address book file. By default, the general address book file is stored in this location: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Remote Utilities Files\connections_4.xml. You can send it to support@remoteutilities.com if it's convenient for you. Of course, you will need to change the credentials afterward for security reasons.
Looking forward to your reply.
connectivity issue
Thank you for the clarification.
I think you can consider using a One-click installer. This way, you can build an easy-to-install Host package. The output .exe file is a self-extracting Host installer with your custom settings, so your father will only need to run the file to install the Host on his computer.
Using One-click installer also lets you enable Internet-ID connection on Host and configure Host to send the Internet-ID access credentials to you via email.
Here's a related guide on MSI-configurator tool which is used to build a One-click package and might be helpful as well: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/about-msi-configurator/
And here's a guide on configuring the One-click package: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/one-click-package/
Hope that helps.
start and stop host will not hide.
Yes, making Remote Utilities less prone to false positive detections by av software was one of the reasons. Another reason is to provide the legitimate use of the software, which means that Remote Utilities is used for remote administration and remote support, but not for surveillance over the remote user without the user being aware of it.and it says the reason,
"The reason why this change has been made is to make Remote Utilities less prone to false positive detections by antivirus software"
However i see other popular remote access software than remote utilities(ofcourse alexa rank) ex: like [censored]([censored].com) / [censored](vpn.net-free) has 'Hide tray icon' option. for example in [censored] once hidden tray icon there no way to know it running or anyone connect etc and just have to check the taskmanager process so i dont think that's such specific reason.
May I ask - for what task do you need this feature?
Looking forward to your reply.
connectivity issue
Thank you for your message.
Could you please clarify if your laptop and your father's PC are on the same LAN or VPN? If this is the case, please refer to this troubleshooting guide: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/kb/cannot-connect-using-direct-connection/
If you intend to use the Direct connection over the Internet, you will need access to your router settings on the Host side in order to create a port forwarding rule. Please, refer to this article for more information on setting up port forwarding for the Host: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/how-do-i-set-up-port-forwarding-for-the-host/
Let me know if the issue persists.

Thank you for your message.
Could you please clarify if you mean the Hide tray icon menu feature in Settings for Host?
This feature lets you not to display the Host menu when right-clicking the Host icon in the system tray.
Here's a relatable Documentation article that might be helpful: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/host-options/#Interface
The feature to hide the Host icon in the system tray has been discontinued since version 6.3.0.4.
I am sorry if that made the program less useful for you.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Compatibility with WINDOWS SERVER 2016
Thank you for your message.
I'm glad to hear it worked for you!About "Control+ALT+DEL" has been resolved. Thanks.
Could you please clarify if you consider using Host with the internet-ID connection option? In this case, you can configure an internet-ID for each Host PC as described in this guide.- To have one individual ID for each user session I need to use AGENT (instead HOST).
- But AGENT dont allow unattended access...
I understood well? Or maybe is there a solution?
If this works for you, you can also configure your custom Host installer with custom settings (such as internet-ID which is configured upon installation and then sent to your email) and then mass deploy Hosts on each of your machines. As an example, please refer to this guide. Also, here's a related Documentation article that might be helpful: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/about-msi-configurator/
Could you please send us a screenshot of the toolbar where only one terminal user is available? But if for example I enter in USER SESSION 1 in toolbar I only can find one USER 1 and I cant switch using toolbar to USER 2 or 3...
Looking forward to your reply.

I will get back to you with their answer.
Trial feedback
Thank you for the clarification.
Please try switching to the List view or the Details view in the Viewer. This way, you have different columns enabled and arranged the way you need. A table view is always preferable when working with multiple entries because it allows you to easily sort your records.
Hope that helps.
