Hello Michael,

Thank you for the screenshot.

Please try enabling the Override DPI scaling checkbox in Viewer shortcut properties, as shown on the screenshot below:

Hello Gabriel,

Thank you for your message.

I didn't find the instructions on how to correctly deploy the host, even though I manage to do it customizing the msi installer,

It is mentioned in the Quick Start Guide that the Viewer has advanced built-in tools such as MSI Configurator and Remote Install. These tools are designed to help with administration and deployment across multiple target PCs.
However, I'll pass your feedback along to our team and check if the information could be added to the installation guide.

I would expect I can connect to computers in Active Directory from the browser, instead it seems this is not possible, they need to be added as connections, this is very uncomfortable.

When you install the Viewer on a computer that belongs to the Active Directory network, the Viewer fetches the AD tree automatically and displays it in the Navigation pane on the left side of the main Viewer window. You can add additional domain controllers using the Add domain controller dialog. Here's a relatable section of our Documentation: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/active-directory-integration/

It would be great to have some extra options via right click on a computer:

Some of these features are already available in other connection modes. For example, you can use the Inventory Manager mode to view and save detailed reports about hardware and software installed on remote PCs. There is also the Task Manager mode to view processes, windows, services and users on the remote computer.

Hello Adam.

Unfortunately, as I have mentioned above, changing the color of the Agent icon is not possible.

I am sorry if this makes the program less useful for you.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Agent icon color

Hello Adam,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, we do not provide white labeling of the icon. Apart from purely marketing reasons, there is another reason - the program should be clearly identifiable by the user (and security staff/admins if any) as being Remote Utilities.

However, you can still customize the Agent window itself, as described in this tutorial.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your feedback.

what I mean by that is I have mode set to stretch, 90% of the time the window becomes the size of a postage stamp and I constantly need to resize and make it bigger, this happens mostly when the remote pc is rebooted but it happens other times as well.

Could you please clarify if the connection window size changes each time you connect to the same Host or is it the remote machine screen size? Also, it would be helpful if you could provide a screenshot or a short video of the issue. You can send it to support@remoteutilities.com.

no Linux versions, no web access, no nas integration. I could go on and on...

We will certainly consider adding such ability to the web account. As for the Linux version: this year we are going to release Agent/Host for MacOSX, which may also mean Agent/Host for Linux.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Hello Alex,

Thank you for your message.

Probably the folder was somehow deleted by antivirus software or some cleaning tool. Please try completely uninstalling the Viewer by following this tutorial and then install it from scratch.

Before you do that though, export your address book so that you could import all your remote PC records back into the Viewer.

In addition, I highly recommend that you add the Viewer installation folder and Remote Utilities Files folder to antivirus software exceptions list to avoid future problems in this regard.

Hope that helps.
