Host Internet ID Inventory

I'm running all sorts of scripts/tools/utilities to manage my client machines and have difficulties extracting the Internet ID of the hosts I have running.
I could simply use the inventory system integrated in the viewer but unfortunately it's not what I want, I just need the ID to be stored in a readable/accessible format on the machine (eg. %RUhostPath%/iid.cnf or REG key))

I know about the InternetId key in (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Usoris\Remote Utilities Host\Host\Parameters) but how do I convert it to something like xyz-xyz-xyz-xyz ? (what format is it ?)

We definitely plan to release RU Server for Linux in the future (hopefully, some time soon after Host/Agent for Mac/Linux release). In fact, we already do have it in our wish-list, but there's no specific ETA on it yet.
.

Great news, I would be happy to test it for you.
I guess you have in the back of your head a container. Correct ?

Seems to have been happening for a long time with no suggestion of a fix?

There is no "fix" it's going to need a RU support team solution :-)

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for your patience.

The reason we're asking about antivirus/firewall software is just to exclude the possibility - sometimes a/v software updates their databases (usually without notifying users) and might mistakenly start blocking our software or access to servers. Please understand that we're not saying it's their fault - we're simply trying to identify if the affected machines have anything in common.

In addition, we've just restarted our servers just in case - please try connecting to your Hosts once again and see if you're able to connect or if the issue still persists. Please note that in some cases it might take up to a few minutes for the connection to restore and start working again.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.
I tested and problem persist
