Hello,

Thank you for your message and sorry for the late response.

Could you please double-check if you have your custom RU Server address selected in the following directories:
1. Host Settings -> Internet-ID settings.
2. Connections Properties -> Internet-ID connection.
In case both directories already have the correct custom Server selected, please let us know if the issue occurs for all of your remote Hosts or only for one specific remote machine.

Looking forward to your reply.

Good morning Pauline
before checking what you indicated me, let me inform you that:
- I have the same issue on 3 different PC (all my PC's under the same router)
- for all the PC the issue started at the same time (Jul, 5th, 7:30 AM)
- the issue is the same for all the remote hosts on the RU address book for all the PC
I will return soon after checking your suggestions.
Thank you very much
Carlo

Good morning
now I have understood your suggestion. Yes, they are corrected set. I used them for months, this is not my first trying.
Was also hard to understand your words "following directories", because I started to search "directories" but maybe you meant something other than "directories".
Thank you

.

HI Pauline - yes, all of my hosts were deployed using a custom MSI pointing to my server. I've never used the public RU servers and am logged into the viewer using Custom Server Authentication.

Hello Carlo,

Thank you for your message.

Could you please verify if you’re using the latest Remote Utilities version 7.2.2.0? Are you able to locate the Host log files and send us the most recent logs from at least one of your Host machines? You can send it to support@remoteutilities.com for examination.

Looking forward to your reply.

snk-nick,

Could you please send us the full Host log file for a review? I will forward it to our developers, so they can examine it and provide feedback. You can send it to support@remoteutilities.com.

Looking forward to your reply.

snk-nick,

You can send us the latest Host logs from one of your remote Hosts that should be using your RU Server. In addition, please also send us the full file that you've quoted in your first message, so I can forward it as well.

Thank you.

Good morning Pauline
yesterday, as suddenly as it had appeared, the problem ended (in all my PC). I have been working in IT for 39 years, I can assure you that I have checked everything that was possible to check.
I don't know what happened and I don't know why, I only know that the problem (never seen before since I have been using RU) lasted 6 days and I didn't touch anything, neither before nor during the event.
In case the problem occurs again, I will open a new thread and send you the logs immediately.
Thank you very much for your assistance and patience.
Carlo
