IOS client name on screen

I have one pc with the host settings set to display the connections in a box on the bottom RH corner. Whilst this is great and it displays the machine type connected and its IP address. It would be good if instead of the machine type it used the machine name.
For example, when I connect to the host with my laptop, it displays "Laptop" and with my iPad it displays "iPad". If it displayed the name given in the settings like the Username or the machine name like "Chas's iPad" this would help in identifying the user.
Is it possible to set this display either in the Host settings or in the iOS version?
If this sounds more like a feature request, please move it to the appropriate board.
Thanks
Chas

Yes, I think so. I need to use the iOS viewer to listen to the sound from a PC host.
Does that make sense?
On the PC viewer, you can do this through a menu option.

Hello,
Any update on the addition of Sound monitoring? I need to check the sound from a remote security PC, it would be most useful to be able to hear the sound from that machine.
Regards
Chas

Thanks Conrad,
I look forward to the new developments.
I have enabled the display of logged in users and can keep my local display open to see which tech logs in so for now log them manually.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Chas,
Thank you for your post.
That depends on what connection type you use - Internet-ID or direct connection - and also whether Viewer and Host share the same network (and subnet) or located in different networks.
Thanks for the quick reply.
The system uses both. For my login, it's local IP address but for others its Internet-ID using the standard RU server.
The local is of course the same LAN subnet but the remote just a web ID.
The idea being for me to see who logs in and does what. Without their ID / IP I have no idea.

Hi Log is great as is but can I ask if the log is working correctly? On my session logs it shows local IP's like 192.168.1.75 and host IP's like 127.0.0.1 but no external IP's Is that correct?
Am running this on a Windows 7 Virtual PC sitting on a Windows 10 box but with external access through a separate NIC.
Screen clip attached.
Thanks
Chas
