When host was last online; Email notification when host is back online
Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately, Remote Utilities does not support the "last online" feature yet. However, we already have it on our roadmap, so it will be definitely implemented in our future updates. Unfortunately, we can't provide any specific ETA on this yet.1. How can I check when the host was last online - so I know if this was 10 min ago or 10hrs ago?
Unfortunately, Remote Utilities does not support an email notification feature. However, you can enable the Notify me when connection is online option in the Viewer Options -> View tab if you're not using it yet. This feature will send a desktop notification when connection appears online.2. Can I get an email notification when the host is ready to connect to?
Unfortunately, sound is not supported within the existing "Notify me when connection is online" feature. I will forward this to our development department for a review to see if we can add the sound support in our future support. Sorry for the inconvenience. Can I at least get a loud Audio notification when the host is ready to connect
Please let us know if you have other questions.
Some viewers see some connections on-line others off-line.
Thank you for the clarification.
Thank you for sharing your input with us. There shouldn't be any difference when installing Remote Utilities using the "run as admin" feature or without it. We also haven't had any reports from other users regarding such scenarios. Even though installing Viewer and Host already requires user to have admin privileges (users without admin privileges can only run Agent), we'll still test it out in our environment and I will forward this to our developers as well to see if they can provide any input on this. I'll get back to you if there are any updates on this.I was trying to ask about whether there were problems with the systems
operation if the software was not installed with "run as admin", I meant general operability, not the throughput
performance.
Please let us know if you have other questions.
Full iOS viewer update?
Thank you for your message.
I will check on this with our development department to see if there's any ETA on the address book feature for the mobile Viewer and will get back to you with an update on this shortly.
I apologize once again for keeping you waiting.
I'll keep you updated on this.
Remote execution does not work
Thank you for your message.
Please note that according to our Support Policy only commercial license users are eligible for a remote support session.
However, we will be glad to assist you via our Community Forum. Could you please elaborate a bit more on the issue that occurs when using the Execute connection mode? In addition, please try enabling the Use system account checkbox and running the application this way.
Hope that helps.
Cannot login to Host from one PC but can from Another?
Thank you for your message.
I'm glad to hear that you've figured out the issue and it works for you now!
Please feel free to post another message if you have more questions or need our further assistance. We're happy to help!
iphone view only
Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, mobile Viewer for iOS/Android only supports the Full Control connection mode and does not support other connection modes available in the desktop Viewer for WIndows.
However, we already have plans to significantly improve mobile Viewer in our future updates - namely, to implement the full-fledged address book, other connection modes and more features. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any specific ETA on this yet. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have more questions.

Of course, feel free to upd ate us on the issue.
We haven't seen any difference in the connection performance in such cases, especially since elevated admin privileges are required for Host or Viewer installation. In fact, there's no difference in performance even when using Agent as a non-admin user vs. running it as admin.ARE YOU SEEING ANY DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE WHEN INSTALLS ARE DONE
with "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" AND / OR THE PROGRAM IS RUN WITH "ADMINISTRATOR MODE"
SE T IN ITS PROPERTIES ?
Please also note that some operations require a user to have admin rights, for example, using the MSI Configurator Tool in Viewer.
Hope that helps.

I'm glad to hear you were able to figure out the issue and it works for you now.
Please note that it's possible to change the Host Settings remotely, given that you can logon to the remote Host. This can be done using the Remote Settings feature - in this case the remote Host restarts automatically after you're done customizing the settings, so that the changes are applied automatically as well, you only need to wait until it starts back, so that you're able to reconnect to the Host again.I'd like to be able to try the legacy mode on the File Server, but since neither monitor
station can connect to it w/ full control, I can't get there from here.
Please try setting the Local mouse pointer setting in the Connection Properties window -> Cursor tab to either Set remote cursor shape to local cursor or Use standard cursor shape options and see if this helps to resolve the issue. The mouse pointer is a small box.
It seems like there might be an issue with your Viewer installation caused by the address book file and/or the Viewer's configuration file in the Viewer installation folder being somehow damaged or corrupted. However, opening File Server actually opens #2 instead, though the IDs are correct in the connection and in thi hosts. Monitor 2 can now see all four of the hosts in question and can open fully #1,2, &3, (issue with #2 offline was an ID error) but connection to File Server never completes.
Please try uninstalling this Viewer completely and cleaning up the traces of the installation as described in this complete uninstallation tutorial. After uninstallation is completed please try restarting the Viewer machine and then installing Viewer from scratch to see if the same issues re-occur on the clean installation as well.
In addition, in case if you have any antivirus/firewall or other security software installed on your Viewer machine, please also add the Viewer installation folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Remote Utilities - Viewer\* to the exception list as described here.
Hope that helps.

About new language
Thank you for the clarification.
I'm sorry, but this is not how the customizable MSI installation file is supposed to be used, and such capabilities are not advertised anywhere on the site or in our sales literature. Please note that we cannot provide assistance on undocumented capabilities like changing or disassembling resource files, re-arranging controls or reverse-engineering of the software. Besides, please note that this might violate our EULA.
If you want to provide your contact information to your customers, please configure an Agent package instead where you can add any custom text at the Integrate your logo tab.
Please note that our software is provided as is and the only customization options are those available in Options/Settings for the corresponding modules and our MSI Configurator.
Hope that helps.
