Hello Geoff,
Thank you for the clarification.
I will forward the issue to our developers and will ask for their input on this to see if there's a solution or a workaround we can suggest.
I'll get back to you with an update on this shortly.

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your message.
Could you please clarify if you mean that you've enabled both the Auto-import feature and the RU Server/AD integration at the same time? If this is the case, then this is what might be causing the duplication issues - please try disabling one of the features and see if this helps to stop connections from getting duplicated.
Hope that helps.

Hello Geoff,
Thank you for the clarification.
Could you please also double-check if your graphics card drivers are updated to the latest versions on both Host and Viewer machines?
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello,
Yes, enabling the Ask user permission feature means that every time someone wants to connect to your Host, the remote user needs to accept or reject the incoming connection.
Enabling the IP Filter feature will ensure that only specific Viewer with a specific IP address or within an address range can connect to your Host, or, in case with the Ask user permission feature enabled, to request a permission from a remote Host to connect to it.
Hope that helps.

Hello,
Thank you for your message.
However, you can backup your existing settings or address books. To backup settings for Host export and copy the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Usoris\Remote Utilities Host\.
To backup Viewer settings export this registry key: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Remote Utilities Files\. To save your address books copy the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Remote Utilities - Viewer\ or follow this guide on backing up your address books.
Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, no, in this case Remote Utilities will be uninstalled as the factory reset feature removes all apps and their settings as well, it's only possible to keep personal files. For more information please refer to this guide on resetting Windows.Computer 1: If a computer has had windows factory reset, is there any chance of Remote Utilities remaining on the device?

Of course, you can simply disable the Internet-ID connection by selecting the Turn Off option in the Host Settings -> Internet ID Settings. This way, the Host computer will only be available for Direct Connection, i.e. only for those Viewers that can access Host directly by its IP address or DNS name.Computer 2) Is there a way to disable or at least disable any external access to the computer without uninstalling the software?
Hope that helps.

Hello David,
Thank you for the clarification.
Could you please let us know the format of the file that gets deletes and its approximate size, so we could try reproducing the issue in our environment? In addition, please let us know what Windows OS is running on both sides of connection, i.e. on Host and Viewer machines.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello Amit,
Thank you for the clarification.
Please let us know if you have other questions.
Thank you for the clarification.
Unfortunately, the touchscreen in the mobile Viewer does not work this way yet. However, we plan to completely revamp mobile Viewer and include a few features, such as full-fledged address book, so perhaps, we will be able to implement a more comfortable way to interact with remote Host when connecting from mobile Viewer. Thank you for the suggestion.Do you support this or plan to?
Please let us know if you have other questions.

Hello Amit,
Thank you for your message.
In case if you mean Viewer for Mac, then it supports touchpad/trackpad or any mouse that is connected to your computer by default. If you mean mobile Viewer for iOS devices - it does support touchscreen by default as it's supposed to be used on mobile devices (iPhone/iPad), but, unfortunately, it does not provide mouse support yet. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have other questions.

Hello Alex,
Thank you for your message.
When using version 6.10.10.0 of Remote Utilities the TLS version for the SMTP is specified automatically, based on what versions are supported by both Remote Utilities and the email provider in use, including version 1.2 as well.
However, please note that we have implemented support of TLS 1.2 for SMTP feature starting version 7.0 of Remote Utilities. You can see the full list of improvements on the Release Notes page.
Hope that helps.

Hello James,
Thank you for your patience.
I've checked on the issue with our developers - unfortunately, we couldn't reproduce the issue which means that it only manifests itself in some certain circumstances. In this case we can only recommend to reinstall Windows and try installing Remote Utilities on the clean system installation to see if the issue persists (alternatively, you can also use a virtual machine for such purposes). Sorry for the inconvenience.
