Would you please show me an example of running rutview.exe from the command line in /ftp mode to copy a file?

rutview.exe /name:connection_name /ftp /password:password <what would be the additional parameters?>

Hello Bill,

Thank you for your message.

Please try enabling the  Use legacy capture mode  feature in the Host Settings -> Other tab and see if this helps to resolve the issue. After enabling the feature please make sure to restart Host in order for the changes to be applied. This should fix the issue with the black screen for headless Host machines/machines with their monitor off.

Hope that helps.

That fixed it. Thanks!

Although I can see a preview of a system desktop without the remote system monitor on, I cannot set it in View Only or Full Control modes. Why is that? Is there a setting I can change to fix this? version is 7.0.2.0

Thank you for the response. Yes, this would be a very useful feature for a more wholistic remote management process of many computers. Thank you for considering it. Suggest that the easiest implementation would be just as you said, open up multiple File Transfer connections in the tabs, then just have Copy to All option to a path, and create the path target folder if it does not already exist. Good for staging of software installs, management and inventory file distributions, etc.
